Frequently Ask Questions
Question: Can I use the Qk-Saw ejection system on concrete
Answer: It is not recommended for concrete because the type of pilot bit required is different. The Ejection System will work with the following substrates: wood, fiberglass, metal, rubber, drywall, roofing paper (asphalt), durock (sheet rock).
Question: Can I use the Ejection System on a retail grade hole saw?
Answer: If the depth of the hole saw is less than 1 ½ inches, using the Ejection System is not recommended.
Question: What sizes are available?
Answer: Currently, the Qk-Saw Ejection System is available to fit in hole saw sizes 7/8”; 1 1/8”; 1 3/8” x 1 ½ inch depth. There will be more sizes to come.
Question: Is there an incorrect way of loading the Ejection System?
Answer: The spring must be loaded PAT. PEND. face up. If you try to load the spring reversed, it won’t work at all.
Question: What if my Ejection System becomes loose?
Answer: Remove the Ejection System and place it on a flat surface. Insert the pilot bit, bottom first, and tap against the teeth lightly.
